- These are the files in the archive and where they go.

- 8 : In fonts:siesta (you will have to make the Siesta
- directory in fonts:).
- Chars1 - Chars7 : Character matrix files for Black Magic or DarkTerm
- DarkTerm : The main program file for DarkTerm. It can go anywhere.
- DarkTerm.CG8 : Title data - goes with the program.
- DarkTerm.chrs : The default character matrix file. This goes into your
- system path directory. First time users must put this in
- the same directory with DarkTerm.
- DarkTerm.config : Terminal configuration parameter file. There is none
- provided in the archive, since internal defaults are
- used. Saving the configuration from the General Options
- will create the file in your s: directory.
- DarkTerm.Hayes : Hayes 300/1200/2400 baud compatible modem file.
- DarkTerm.HST : Courier HST 9600/14.4K baud compatible modem file.
- Modem files go into the system path directory. If you are
- a first time user, put one of these files with the main
- terminal program file DarkTerm. For HAYES V.32 9600 baud
- units, it may be necessary to filezap the modem strings
- in this file.
- DarkTerm.info : With the main program.
- DarkTerm.keys : Keyboard translation tables for DarkTerm. Must go into
- your s: directory.
- DarkTerm.pats : Color/Mono area fill pattern file. Must go into your s:
- directory.
- DarkTerm.snd : Alarm sound sample for auto dial/answer & completed file
- transfers. Can be any sound sample, but must be named
- this and stored in your s: directory.
- HST.ReadMe : Read this if you are using an HST modem.
- Patterns.IFF : The current area pattern fill file, expressed as an IFF
- ILBM picture file.
- siesta.font : Put this in your fonts: directory.
- Symbols.IFF : An IFF ILBM file showing the graphics symbol key codes
- on the keyboard.

- NOTE: This version of DarkTerm (1.0e) supports ANSI mode as a default. The
- upper set of IBM/ANSI graphics symbols are also supported.
